We are Friends of Starling Hall

In 1875 a small group of local residents founded the Starling Grange, and for 135 years the hall served as a community center for Fayette, Maine.  Grange activities ceased in the 1990’s.  In 2014 a handful of Fayette residents created Friends of Starling Hall (FOSH), dedicated to the restoration of this historic landmark to its former status as a Town Community Center.

Your Donations Make a Difference

Since 2014 FOSH has placed Starling Hall on the National Register of Historic Places, attained 501(c)3 corporation status for fundraising, and moved the hall over 30 feet onto a new foundation located back from the state road.  Yet this is only the beginning of what must be accomplished.
